Understanding Diwali: A Celebration of Light and Joy
Diwali, rich in history and tradition, symbolises the victory of light over darkness. It's a period for family gatherings, homes are adorned with lights, and indulging in delicious feasts is encouraged. The essence of Diwali lies in its traditions, from lighting diyas lamps to creating rangoli patterns, and sharing sweets between family and friends. We wanted to recreate as many of these traditions as possible throughout our Diwali celebrations at Bunchi.
Bunchi's Diwali Celebration Special Menu: A Culinary Homage
Here at Bunchi, we are renowned for our vegan and vegetarian offerings, therefore, we decided to celebrate Diwali with a special menu that was a gastronomic delight. The menu we created was exclusive to the Diwali campaign and went down a storm with our wonderful guests!
The feast began with our Masala Chicken Kadai starter, a harmonious blend of spices and tender 'chicken', setting the tone for a flavourful celebration.
The main course featured the Tandoori Patakka Pizza and Naga Raj Pizza. The Tandoori Patakka was a fiery fusion of Indian spices and Italian pizza, while the Naga Raj offered a unique blend of Eastern and Western flavours.
The Falooda dessert was a delightful concoction of vermicelli, sweet basil seeds, and ice cream, crowned with rose syrup.
Bunchi's Community Commitment During Diwali
Embracing the Diwali spirit of giving and new beginnings, we decided to pledge a free meal to Good Shepherd Wolverhampton for every Diwali set menu sold, this was our way of giving back, celebrating the festival's ethos and bringing the community together.
